In una recente intervista a Mtv, Kristen Stewart ha parlato un po’ dei tabloid e di come si è trovata lavorando con Bryce Dallas Howard, che ha sostituito Rachelle Lefevre nel ruolo di Victoria.
Penso che il primo giorno di lavoro sul set sia come il primo giorno di scuola. Ci sono le letture estive dell’ultimo minuto (imparare il copione), incontrare nuovi compagni di scuola (i tuoi colleghi di set) e le ore spese per i capelli e il trucco (ok, forse non quest’ultimo). Ma grazie a un tocco speciale del regista Chris Weitz sul set di New Moon si respirava un’aria “scolastica” – in senso buono. La star della Twilight Saga Kristen Stewart è andata ad Mtv Radio di recente e ha parlato dell’approccio “da insegnante” del regista, del lavorare con nuovi attori come Bryce Dallas Howard e l’attenzione dei media.
“Chris ha fatto delle cose completamente diverse da ogni regista con cui ho lavorato“, ha spiegato l’attrice 19enne. “Ha messo insieme un programma di studi di ciò che avremmo dovuto fare e come fare per rendere tutto più facile per tutti – una specie di introduzione di come gli piace lavorare. Non ha soltanto introdotto l’idea della collaborazione ma ha detto ‘Per favore, tutti voi, amate questo lavoro e lavorateci duramente’. E’ stato molto incoraggiante. C’era un aspetto tecnico [delle riprese] – di quanto gli dispiaceva che così tante riprese del film dovessero essere girate in CGI e come avremmo reagito noi – ma cercava di renderci sempre consapevoli di ciò che facevamo e di non lasciarci mai diventare alti e secchi come parecchi film con effetti speciali fanno, perchè non si sa a cosa stai reagendo. E’ stato un riassunto completo di come lui voleva che fosse il film. La maggior parte dei registi ti dicono ‘Hai preparato tutto per il nostro incontro?’ e poi dicono ‘No. Il tuo lavoro è questo‘”.
Con New Moon che ancora miete un grande successo al botteghino nelle sue prime settimane di programmazione, Kristen pensa anche ad Eclipse, che uscirà il prossimo anno, parlando di come è stato lavorare con Bryce Dallas Howard, che ha preso il posto di Rachelle Lefevre nel ruolo di Victoria. “E’ stato veramente bello lavorare con lei“, dice Kristen. “Bryce mette paura. E’ davvero dolce quindi è davvero strano vederla cambiare così. Victoria, per Bella, è una costante paura – anche quando Victoria non è nei dintorni, lei ha sempre paura di trovarsela di fronte. Bryce è davvero una grande attrice, ed è stato facile aver paura di lei“.
E naturalmente, nessuna intervista a KStew può essere completa senza la solita domanda sui tabloid. Ma Kristen ha imparato una risposta molto più diplomatica di quella data a Entertainment Weekly il mese scorso (trovate l’articolo qui). “Mi trovo un po’ più a mio agio“, dice Kristen a proposito dell’attenzione dei media. “E tutta la storia dei rumors sui tabloid, è così ovviamente falsa per me. Anche priva di diventarne parte, ero una specie di stella, è come uno spettacolol; uno spettacolo ridicolo. Come un falso realismo, come una soap opera che sembra reale, ma non ne puoi essere del tutto sicuro. E non mi preoccupa, non ne farei una questione personale“.

I imagine the first day on a movie set is a lot like the first day of school. There's all the last-minute summer reading (memorizing the script), meeting new classmates (your costars) and the hours of hair and makeup (okay, maybe not that last one). But thanks to a special touch from director Chris Weitz, the "New Moon" set felt even more scholarly — in a good way. "Twilight Saga" star Kristen Stewart sat down with MTV Radio recently and talked about the director's teacherly approach to filming, working with newcomer Bryce Dallas Howard and the media scrutiny."Chris did a very different thing that I've never had a director do," the 19-year-old explained. "He put together a syllabus of what we were supposed to achieve and how he was going to make it easier for everyone — sort of an introduction to how he likes to work. It not only introduced the idea of collaboration but said, 'Please, everyone, love it and be invested and work hard.' It was very encouraging. It had technical aspects of [the shoot] — how he was so sorry that so much of the movie was going to be CGI stuff that we would have to react to — but that he was going to always make us aware of what we were acting with and never leave us high and dry like a lot of effects movies [do], because you don't know what you're reacting to. It was a full rundown of how he planned on making the movie. Most directors are like, 'Have you put together notes for our meeting?' and it's like, 'No. That's your job.' "
With "New Moon" already a box office smash in its first few weeks, Kristen also turned her gaze towards next year's "Eclipse," dishing about working with Bryce Dallas Howard, who took over the role of Victoria from Rachelle Lefevre. "It was really good [working with her]," Kristen said. "Bryce is scary. She is really oddly sweet as well, so it's weird to see her switch back and forth. Victoria, for Bella, is an ever-present fear — even when Victoria isn't around, she is scared that she is coming back. Bryce is such a good actress, and it was easy to be scared of her."
And, of course, no KStew interview would be complete without the requisite tabloid talk. But Kristen mustered a much more diplomatic response than the one she gave Entertainment Weekly last month. "I've gotten more comfortable with it," Kristen said of the media attention. "And the whole rumor/tabloid stuff, it's so obviously false to me. Even before I became a part of it, once I was sort of the star of that, it's like a show; it's like a ridiculous show. With false realism, like a soap opera that seems real, but you're not quite sure. It doesn't bother me; I don't take it personally."
